“Race for the Cure“ Philadelphia
Event Graphics including Street Pole Banners
About This Project
Since 2004 Quaker Chroma Imaging has been a proud sponsor of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. QCI has donated numerous graphics over the years to help bring recognition and awareness to our entire community. In 2007 Elaine Grobman, Director for the Race, asked if we could make banners for the street poles. QCI was more than happy to do our part and adorn every street pole on Eakins Oval with a Race for the Cure banner.
Dye Sublimation Printing to Fabric has made Pole Banner Printing more eye catching and appealing. Our Mimaki printers deliver rich saturated colors with exceptional print quality. Using Intelligent Color Control Technology we were able to ensure precision color management and unparalleled image quality of the Susan G. Komen branded colors.
The flags were and continue to be a big hit. Race day you could here the flags snapping in the wind drawing your attention to them and the Race for the Cure theme. As you can see by the purity of photos, the lovely blue skies and the vivid Race for the Cure flags waving in the air added an additonal charge to an already impressive event. QCI is grateful of its relationship with the Susan G. Komen Foundation. We take great pride knowing that we are doing our part to fight this deadly disease.
We utilized the following equipment:
Dye Sublimation Fabric Printing with the Mimaki JV5-320S and Roland SJ-1045 EX Color InkJet Plotters combined with the Klieverik Sublimator provides these advantages.
